A weekend full of adventures:
Friday night we planned a big evening out. Nine of us went out to a late dinner in Warschauer Strasse. This is a cheaper part of town where a lot of younger people hang out. It is known for its affordable nightlife, so naturally we had to check it out.
We went to an Italian Pizzeria. I made good friends with the waiter and seemed to become the ring leader of the table, probably because I was the one ordering all the wine. He brought me a small glass of wine before every bottle we ordered to try first. A very nice man! We sat there and ate and drank for a couple hours, European style.
After the Pizzeria we decided to check out one of the most popular clubs in town. Everytime we go to a club it is definately an experience. There is always American music playing and it is mostly from my middle school years. We once agian enjoyed some Spice Girls and N’SYNC, as well as some decently new American music. I just want to hear some German music though or some techno would be good too.
At the club I met some American boys from the east coast. They had just graduated and were on a trip celebrating. I introduced them to our group and we all danced the night away, I left the club around 5 a.m.
On Saturday evening we just grabbed some dessert, champagne, and wine and hung out at one of our host family’s flats. Nothing too exciting.
That’s all for now!
Bis später!
