This weekend in Germany was Christopher Street Day; this is a celebration of the LGBT community. There were celebrations in numerous large German cities and the largest celebration is in Cologne, only a 20 minute train ride away!

While in Cologne yesterday we did some searching for a good place to sit down at have a beer and eat some food. We found it, a biergarten that serves beer in large quantities. We purchased 3L of beer for 18 Euros, which is a steal! This beer comes out, not in your ordinary pitcher, [...]
